If we can abstract the comprehensive feature data model of an athlete of a special kind of sport from these information, it will undoubtedly bring the coaches great help in exploring the training regulations, reducing the labor intensity and enhancing the quality of training. The premise of using the computer to process the data is data and structure of the information. In order to doing the research more conveniently, and combine it with the rowing boat, and exploring the characteristics of database design ideas and implementation methods of women rowing athletes. We are doing the survey and research focus on the 250 active and former Chinese national team, the women rowers of Fujian,Hubei and the results are as follows:(1) Set the concept of the characteristics of the database in athletes'sports training and importance of the establishment of related databases。(2) Form a set of design principles, ways and means of achieving to form the characteristics of database for women rowing athletes。(3) According to the characteristics database design principles of women rowing athletes, we provide the initial development of the corresponding software system, and analyze, summarize, and provide new technological means for abstracting women's rowing athletes'sports training features。The establishment and development of the database of the characteristics of the female Rowers rowing athletes make another new exploration for the combination between the modern computer technology and the sports.
