Study On Quality Assurance System Of Undergraduate Teaching In Research Universities

China's higher education is currently experiencing a rapid growth. To set up a number of universities which focus on research is one of the key respect of China's higher education. To train a number of talented people who are internationally competitive is a key responsibility of these research universities. Professionals in these universities need to engage in not only teaching but also researching and developing. Aiming at this, how to take advantage of these research universities to develop a system which enable the teaching and R & D supplement each other has become a important topic of deepening higher education teaching revolution.The paper is mostly on how to design the Assurance system on undergraduate teaching quality in research universities.Firstly,it explained some basic concepts such as research university,quality and education quality, quality assurance in higher education.Then analysised the necessary of designing the Assurance system on undergraduate teaching quality in research universities and the actuality of China's undergraduate teaching quality assurance.Secondly,the paper introduced the condition of undergraduate teaching in research universities overseas and internal.Thirdly,used Total Quality Management to design the Assurance system on undergraduate teaching quality in research universities.And analysised the frame and connotation.Finaly,the paper introduced the practice of Tianjin University's undergraduate teaching quality assurance from 4 aspects:firstly,to establish and perfect correlation regulation and enhance process management.Secondly,emend undergraduate integrate cultivate plan.Thirdly,Strengthen specialty and course construction.Fourthly,take availability measure to mobilize enthusiasm of teaching and learning.
