John Dewey was the famous philosopher of pragmatism and educator in the 20th century of American, He thought that the task of philosophy should not be far away from the public, studying about an absolute beginning and end, but should be concerned about social realities. In this understanding, he expressed concern about the social problems of times, trying to find a way to the democracy society, and thought that was education. Thought only education was the way to transformed society and. To this end, Dewey's life was not only explored the true meaning of democracy in theory, but also he practiced his theory of education in person. He proposed that education as a "laboratory of philosophy." Dewey thought the problems of the times ---- ask true meaning of democracy ---- education as a means to achieve ---- a theory of practice as the main line of the context to study John Dewey's thinking and action in his all life.
