The purpose of this research on learning strategies for efficient reading is to provide a basis for effective training and support for the benefit of language learners, in this case, students at comprehensive vocational high schools, to the extent that they can eventually become more independent and autonomous learners. The training of such learning strategies involves a lot of preparation, such as raising learners'awareness of learning strategies, diagnosing learners'existing learning strategies, selecting appropriate strategies to be practiced and making decisions on approaches to such training. Teachers and researchers are advised to take into account the internal factors in learning such as intelligence, personality, learning style, attitude, motivation and so on. Although researchers have brought forward a number of ways for implementing the training of language learning strategies, what proves to be the most effective is yet to be tested and explored further by practitioners of classroom teaching. Meanwhile, it is always the teacher's responsibility to help learners realize and understand that there is a wide range and variety of choices of learning strategies for use in the language learning process, and that to make intelligent judgment, informed choices and appropriate implementation are essential in both language teaching and language learning.
