Research On High School Teachers' Pressure Management

Teachers' professional pressure is the new field on present teacher research. This thesis has introduced and analyzed the teachers' professional pressure made by scholars and experts from home and abroad on the basis of three dimensions: society, schools and individual teachers. Taking the teachers in Jiangsu Mudu Senior High School as research objects, the author has made an investigation on senior teachers' professional pressure and practical research on pressure management, briefly revealing the present situation of senior teachers' pressure, pressure origin, the negative influence on teachers caused by pressure, and the pressure-solving strategy and effect evaluation by senior teachers. This research has provided certain guiding sense in theory and practice on carrying on pressure research and pressure management by educational administration departments, middle and primary schools and individual teachers, especially it has direct guiding sense on individual teachers' self-reduced pressure.The thesis can be divided into the following four parts:The first part is literature research. On one hand, by learning and analyzing the history, present situation, contents etc. on the foreign teachers' pressure research, this part offers theoretical reference for Chinese teachers' pressure research and pressure management practice. On the other hand, by combing the relative literature made by Chinese scholars and experts, this part sums up the results of the teachers' pressure research.The second part is investigation research. This part mainly inspects the present situation of Mudu Senior High School teachers' pressure, pressure origin, pressure influence, and pressure-solving strategy, which not only verifies the research results of Chinese scholars and teachers, but also provides practical evidence for further study on teachers' pressure management. The third part is management research. This part is based on Mudu Senior High School, carrying on the practical research on teachers' pressure management, which makes the research of great value.The fourth part is research suggestions. It is believed that teachers' pressure management is a system project, which involves all kinds of efforts from society (mainly the government), schools and individual teachers.
