Scientific research on education is one of the effective measures to promote teachers' professional development level as well as their teaching level. It can stimulate those who work on teaching research to pay more attention on teaching activities, which will give a push to the reform on National Foundation Education. But in the process of performing, there exists some problems both abstractly and practically, waiting to be solved.This thesis is based on the analysis to the circumstances of scientific research in a certain public school in Suzhou in the purpose of finding out the key factors which influence the school's scientific research level. Some suggestions are proposed by the writer in order to solve these problems. The thesis expounded the meanings to the teachers through the scientific research work on education. Some investigations and analysis were undertaken to the research status. The key factors which restrict the school research work are found by studying the management systems, the institution settings, research production and teachers' involving status. Hopefully we can offer some sustainable reference for the educational department to carry out the scientific research work in elementary and middle schools.
