Our country proposes that the new elementary education reform in the specific objective,"We should change the curriculum focused on the tendency of teaching knowledge and stress students to form the active attitude towards studying, which makes them obtain elementary knowledge and basic skills, in the meanwhile, become a process that how to study and forms the correct values,"We should also change the curriculum over-stressed student's accepted studying, mechanical memorizing, machinery training exercises as well. On the contrary, the new curriculum reform advocates student to participate actively, to be glad to inquire and practise. Besides, raising student forms an ability that collect and process information, gain the new knowledge, analyze and solve problems, as well as communicate and cooperate."The new curriculum reform emphasises that student's learning process is not only one accepting the knowledge, but even it is a process of finding, analyzing and solving problems. Therefore, the central idea of the new curriculum is that cultivating student's ability of creative spirit and practice. Because creative spirit needs question consciousness, and the practical ability is cultivated in the process of the solution; However, the first link of solving problem is to create question consciousness .What the traditional biology teaching focuses on teaching knowledge,less stresses student's self-determination and development, even repels the student's consciousness, which makes student have few question. At last, student will have no enough ability to solve problems, their individuality and special skills will be killed."Studying is from thinking, and thinking is from questioning". Student's study is one kind of thinking activity, and thinking involved in studying activity from the beginning to the end. But thinking is created in a certain question situation, and thinking process is one that student finds and solves problems continuously. The process of the biology teaching in senior middle school should be a process that a learner can gain new knowledge by finding and solving problems, and should put the established study into a complicate and meaningful question situation. We should enable learners to cooperate to study the knowledge hidden the question by solving the problems. Therefore, it is meaningful that raising effective question to initiate student's question consciousness, cultivating their creative spirit and practical ability of teaching biology in senior middle school.This paper based on the current education and teaching theory is that analyzing, studying and evaluating the question situation which have been established by massive teachers to highlight the feature of biology teaching in senior middle school. According to my many year's teaching practice. Firstly, this paper is to state the definition and fundamentals of establishing question situation, the present conditions of establishing question situation at home and abroad of teaching, so that I can propose the purpose and content of my study. Secondly, during the teaching , I follow the principles: (1) Intention (2) Development (3) Enlightenment (4)Linking thoery with practice. Biology is a colorful subject, There are some methods to establish question situation:(1) Using biological experiment (2) Relating to the production and life (3) Focusing on the hot question. Thirdly, in the process of research, I select the students in experimental class and comparative class randomly in our school, through adopting the method of inspection, questionaire survey, test and so on, to do the research for near one year. The teaching strategy is carried on in the experimental class, while I choose convenion modle in comparative class. Around the class experiment, I inspect the student's learning interest and marks between the two class. At length, I've got a general idea of student's learning interest, marks and the ability of question consciousness as well as solving problems by using Excel software.The practical research indicates: (1)In the process of the test, establishing the question situation, teachers lead the student to be self-determination, practice, exploration and so on during the class. Most of students'independence is highlighted and their learning interest is initiated, which makes them learn how to studying, finding , thinking and communicating, the learning atmosphere is better compared with the former lessons. (2)The atmosphere between the teachers and the students has been eliminated during the class, which enables the student to positive thinking in a democratic and comfortable surroundings. The class also displays student's diligence fully, questioning boldly, finding and argument, causing many students to ask the question happily. As a result, the phenomenon of the mechanical memorizing is reduced, their marks improved generally. (3) The test also establishes the question to clear up the suspicion. The teachers can induce and guide the student to experience, break the balanced state of the existed cognitive structure, arise student's thinking, and initiate their desire. All the above things can make students producing, finding and solving problems in the question situation, which makes the question consciousness developed finally.
