| The special nature of the teachers'profession decides the teacher development is a continuous, progressive course, which includes the integral process from pre-service period to the retiring period. It is a long process from from pre-service period to the retiring period. At the same time, it is also an important period for the teacher development. But how the teachers achieve a breakthrough and improve their teaching qualification to serve their students and society more effectively is worth paying attention to. In the long-term stage of development, it is crucial for the teachers to timely adjust their professional structure, update their professional knowledge, gain the professional positive development to serve the society and the individual students better according to the development and demand of the society and scientific technology. In addition, many countries in the world attach great importance to the in-service teacher development. The related research of teacher professional development has become the focus of study at home and abroad.Along with the deepening of China's reform and curriculum development, China's primary and secondary schools teachers are experiencing an unprecedented "metamorphosis", the quality of the teaching profession has become the key to the success or failure of the current education reform.In this study, the author has read and learned from literature review of the professional development of teachers at home and abroad and focus on one Chinese teacher in a key secondary school as a case study. Out of respect, with the teacher's consent, the researcher in this study is used X to replace the teacher. In this case, the object of study, X teacher is the backbone of the frontline teachers and busy in teaching. X has now reached expert teachers stage. The author adopted the interview in this study and described the growth experience from the entry to the profession , challenging himself, reflecting from the new teaching environment and reaching the stable period through dealing with the key incidents. In the face of the opportunities of the new curriculum reform, X has continuously improved himself in the professional development and reached the expert teachers'stage with the mature teaching style. From the perspective of professional competence of teachers and the development of teaching ability, the author studies teachers'professional development of X. In the field of analytic school, the author explores the reasons for the formation of teachers'professional development. The reasons include the collective one( the schools and the Chinese teaching groups) and teachers'personal one( the personality, the reflection and the cultivation of the conscious sense of reading of teachers). X teacher professional development of teachers in the process of important factors, that is, individual teachers in their own schools factors and environmental factors in their professional development of teachers play an important role in the process. From the study, it could be inferred that the driving force of the teachers'actively pursuing their own development from hearts is the key factors for the realization of the professional development of teachers. In addition, good teaching environment in the schools and other measures to achieve the professional development of teachers have set up a broad platform for the realization of the professional development of teachers.This study is also concerned about the pros and cons of influencing factors in the realization of the professional development of teachers in the normal education and the in-service education.In light of the study, the author has made some interesting significance of the strategies and recommendations, for example, from the perspective of micro-school field concerning the promoting effective strategy. Firstly, we proposed to establish the learning organization and construct the integral and school-based system from teaching, research to professional development. To meet the different needs of teachers at different levels, we should use the training mode in the way of teachers'participation to promote their professional development, truly building the system of preparing class together and sharing the resources and making full use of the information technology. Secondly, in terms of teachers, they should take the initiative to establish a professional consciousness, fully consolidate and enhance their professional knowledge and ability to become reflective teachers, and do some teaching researches based on the actual teaching. In this study, the author wants to explore the referenced case which can be imitated and practiced by the common teachers and the teachers of teaching the other subjects from a high school language teachers. |
