In the new reform of geographical curriculum and education, the students' need should be paid more attention. Training the student's geography abilities of thought becomes the new course goes down geographical teaching centre location.Geographical teacher who teaching in the middle school is confronted with new challenges.Using reviewing literature,summarizing experiences and doing empirical research, and combining the characteristics,functions and principles of geography abilities of thought. This thesis tries to construct and analyze a system of geography abilities of thought on the students' learning in the geography teaching practices by taking a teaching class as case.The study with the following six parts:The first part has traced the geography abilities of thought raise selected topic background and the research present situation.In the article pointed out raises the geography abilities of thought is imperative in the middle school geography teaching. It is helpful in enhancing the student to utilize it solution some questions.The second part of basis thought science,the geography discipline and the psychology characteristic,It proposed five principles under the new curriculum idea.It is the principle of comprehensive thought,the principle of comparative thought,the principle of divergent thinking,the principle of spatial thinking and conforming to the student mental development principle.The third part elaborated raising rationale of the geography abilities of thought. Any discipline all cannot leave the theory, it is not exceptional, it is based on the thinking sciences,the psychology,the pedagogy,the geography teaching discusses as well as other correlation scientific theory.In the fourth part, under the new curriculum idea pointed raising the way of the student geography abilities of thought in the geography teaching. Mainly is raises the geography abilities of thought: raising the geography abilities of thought in the cognitive structure formation,raising the geography abilities of thought in the knowledge and skill migration,raising the geography abilities of thought in the inquisition study and the problem-solving.The fifth part is mainly that the basis above principle and the way performs in the teaching to practice,Mainly manifests: How raises the student geography abilities of thought In the physical geographyteaching,the human geography teaching,the region geography teaching and in the local geography teaching.Finally, I make a conclusion and point out the problems existing in this research and the directions for the future studies.
