Concerning how to assess the students, The Mathematics Standard of Compulsory Education (the Standard for short) drafted by Ministry of Education points out that the main aims of assessment are to learn about the students' learning process in the mathematics and to stir up students' learning and improve the teachers' teaching; to construct assessment system of multi-aim and multi-method assessment. Assessment in mathematics learning should pay close attention to the students' learning results, learning process and their learning level as well. Besides, assessment should pay closer attention to the feelings and attitude in their mathematics learning activities so as to help the students to learn about themselves and build up their confidence.Based on accelerating the students' development in Junior Middle school, integrated with the current of development in assessment in mathematics learning, the article discourses upon from four parts:Firstly, the article points out the problems in the assessment in mathematics learning of the students' in our country, accounts for the essentiality of innovation in it.Secondly, based on the connotation of the mathematics learning assessment, the requirements in mathematics learning and the characteristics of the body and mind in Junior Middle School students, the article analyses the assessment in mathematics learning of accelerating the students' development. According to the analysis of the theory of all-round development of human being, the theory of many entity noetics, the theory of constructing study. It also discusses the necessity, the feasibility and reality of it.Afterwards, the article discusses the functions, the methods and the contents etc of it.Finally, the article discusses the applications of the assessment in mathematics learning of accelerating the students' development in the teaching.The innovation of this article is that all examples are coming from my teaching experiences. As a mathematics teacher, I quest for the assessment in mathematics learning of accelerating the students' development all along.
