In order to promote The Quality Education Police, we launched a comprehensive basic education curriculum reform in our education reform. Curriculum is at the core of school education, so curriculum reform is also the core content of education reform. Art curriculum reform is an integral part of the whole curriculum reform. The teaching of design and application fields of study linked and expanded the past 3 parts such as painting, craft and appreciation, and then a new field of study in esthetic formed. The background of setting the design and application areas is the need for the development of the age, and is also a new concept for basic education reform which demands a new art teaching results.For the present situation of"design and application"areas and the curriculum reform, this paper discusses the following problems according to the author's spirit of curriculum reform experience as well as teaching experience such as the basic teaching orientation of design and application areas which includes content, aim and the relationship between design and application. It also discusses the teaching aim to be achieved, the core of which is developing students'innovative ideas in design and creation, and the more important practical ability.The teaching of design and application should focus on the development of students whose dominant position in the class should be established. Secondly, it analyzed the teaching models, strategies and methods. Teaching model which is of the highest level of the three decides the teaching strategy and teaching method, and they should follow the model's requires. Teaching model is the base and frame of effective teaching and learning. This paper discusses the general teaching model and its application, pointing out that students should ensure their position in the class, form design awareness and enhancing their practical ability. Teaching strategies which include the specific regulation and requirements of the three stages such as preparation, implementation and evaluation is a series of teachers'problem-solving behavior in order to achieve the teaching target. The general spirit is to design and ensure students'dominant position and to create a good environment for them to improve their quality. Finally it discusses the design in the fields of design and application. Based on the goal of quality education, the new art curriculum theory should guide and help students learn how to learn, enable them to have a learning atmosphere of autonomy ,cooperation and research, so that it can stimulate students'innovative spirit and practical ability, and make a good foundation for their healthy growth and harmonious development. |
