The higher vocational and technologic education is an important part in our country's higher education. Its healthy development is related to the ups and downs of the whole higher education. Since the later stage in 1990s,our country's higher vocational and technological education steps into a period of rapid development. It aims at cultivating senior applied and technologic person in the forefront of producing, constructing, managing and serving, and the construction of teaching staff in the higher vocational and technologic college is a primary thing which is related to its subsistence and development.The teachers in higher vocational and technologic colleges become the main body in the faculty account of its professional arrangement. Thus this research is mainly about nthe faculty's construction. Chinese higher vocational and technologic college is the novelty of higher education and most of them change into today's higher vocational colleges through promoting or combining several secondary vocationa schools, therefore, teachers' conception and the management toward teachers remain regular. However, if the origin of students changes the goal of cultivating, curricular arrangement and teaching method will be different. That refers to the faculty's construction. This research broadly collects different kinds of materials through literature review docunmentary method, according to the developmental current situation of the higher vocational education in southwest regions, it makes a survey and analysis toward the faculty's construction of higher vocational and technologic colleges in Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou and so on in order to obtain the strategies that can guide the practice.This study firstly makes an elaboration from the reasons, contents, methods, definitions and foundations of theory, then concerning about the problems founde by survey, for example, the numbers is comparatively not enough, the structure is not resonable, academic-practical teachers lack, teaching theories and skills lack, training system is not perfect, pluralistic teaching staff should be improved, this study makes an attributive analysis mainly from two aspects containing society, shools and teachers themselves, and comes into a conclusion that the problems are influenced by many factors, their existence will affect the quality of cultivation and the whole development of Chinese higher vocational education. Therefore, on the basis of using foreign country's experience for reference, many suggertions are put forward: enlaring the power of supporting, strengthening the attraction of higher vocational education; reforming teachers' education, reinforcing special cultivation of teachers in higher vocational and technologic colleges; taking effective measures, strenghthening the construction of training bases; making a cooperation with enterprises, cultivating the academic-practical teachers of higher vocational and technologic colleges; optimizing the structure and exploring the strategies of excellent pluralistic faculty's construction.
