Research On The Life Quality Of Urban Population Of China

Since 30 years of reforming and opening up, the economic construction of China has got remarkable achievements, with high-speed stability and sustained economic growth, which the life quality of population has been enhanced and developed.Taking the subsistence development needs and satisfaction as the ultimate goal of social development, which is the new requirement of the times. And it is also the ultimate goal and focus of reality for the economic and social development.To improve the life quality of the population, which is the ultimate goal of social development. The subsistence development needs and the degree of satisfaction is the basic point of social development. Improving the life quality of population, which is the ultimate goal and highest principle of social development. The life quality of the population is the comprehensive evaluation of the life of population from all aspects, which is the comprehensive economic and civilization reflection of a country or region economic.The thesis adopts quantitative analysis, establishing the evaluation Index System of the life quality, adopting the factor analysis,which does statistical research with sixteen cross-section data of the urban population indicators of life quality in thirty-one districts of China mainland in 2005 by social statistical software SPSS 15.0. According to the result of quantitative analysis, the thesis analyses of the gap and problem of life quality of urban population in 31 districts in China mainland,comparing and analyzing life quality of urban population in eastern, central and northeastern region of China.Finally,the thesis brings forward the solution for the gap between the life quality of urban population.There are five chapters in this thesis.The first chapter,to define the concept of quality of life.To introduce the research theory of life quality from China and abroad.Meanwhile,the thesis clarify the research methods and data sources, making sure theoretical premise explicitly.The second chapter,establishing the indicators system of the life quality of urban population. The sixteen data indicators are selected by following principles: comprehensive and representative principles,practical and operational principles, simple and comparable principles and effective and time principles.To establish the indicators system from the economy, population and health, medical and health, the environment and housing and living facilities five aspects.The third chapter, the quantitative analysis of the life quality of urban population. this chapter do analysis with sixteen the selected indicators by factor analysis with SPSS 15.0.According to comprehensive evaluation index from the factor analysis are, this thesis will divide the life quality urban population from thirty-one districts into five grades types.Meanwhile this thesis analysis the life quality of urban population of eastern,central,western and northeastern areas.The fourth chapter, the basic idea of solving the gap between the life quality of the urban population. According to the result of quantitative analysis, this thesis analyses the existing gap and problem of the life quality of urban population. This thesis gives the five measures to solve the gap and problem: coordinating various factors relationship of life quality;adjusting layout of regional;increasing the income of residents in the central and western regions;optimizing regional human resources and raising the level of urbanization.
