Since this century , the scale of China's secondary vocational education has been expanding with the readjustment of the industrial structure, the training objective has shifted from "to educate the specialized talented person" into "to educate hundreds of millions of high character worker and the specialized talented person." Mathematics is an important subject in secondary vocational education for the realization of the objectives of secondary vocational education. However, mathematics education in secondary vocational education is very hard for variety subjective and objective factors.Mathematics culture is a brand-new perspective in Mathematics education Research. "Mathematics is not only include knowledge systems, but also contains ideas, methods, awareness of mental attitude." We can have a new awareness of the value of mathematics education from a cultural perspective: training student's scientific knowledge, lofty aesthetic values, problem-solving ability, work attitude and other rigorous humanistic quality. This paper will examine the mathematics teaching situation of existing secondary vocational school and find out the reasons from the perspective of Mathematical culture. I hope to make some useful contribution to change the status quo of mathematics education in vocational schools.This paper is divided into five parts:Chapter 1 Introduction It mainly discusses the background to the study of the questions, mathematics culture, the status quo of the development of school-based curriculum, and defines some of the concepts involved.Chapter II mathematical cultural values. It mainly discusses the cultural attributes of mathematics: math is science, math is arts, math is philosophy ,math is tool; And it also talks about educational value of mathematics: cultivating people's scientific knowledge and humanistic quality.Chapter III The investigation of the situation of Mathematics Teaching with the perspective of mathematics culture. We investigate and conclude the rensons from Major culture from the students, teachers and teaching materials of vocational schools with the perspective of mathematics.Chapter IV The development of school-based curriculum with the perspective of mathematics culture. This part makes some proposals to curriculum objectives, curriculum implementation, curriculum evaluation.Conclusion the summary of the studies at this stage and a vision for the future...
