It's in 2005 that the world anti-fascist war has won for 60 years. That's to say, the Chinese war of resistance against Japan has won for 60 years. The history of Japan invading China is one of the most important parts in the senior high school history course. The increasingly expanding right wing in Japan distort the history of Japan invading China more and more severely. And the relationship between China and Japan is one of the hottest issues in the world. Nowadays, the Chinese students know little about the histroy of Japan invading China, and what's worse, some of them show no concern about it. Are there any responsibilities that the senior high school history teaching should take? What about the present situation in the senior high school history about Japan invading China. We have done some comparison and analyse the history of Japan invading China mentioned in the senior high school history textbooks of different editions. And we have done a questionnaire to survey the students who were enrolled in fall, 2005 about their attitudes to Japan, the relationship between China and Japan, and the Chinese war of resistance against Japan. Until now, we have done some elementary analyses of what the students are most concerned about the relationship between China and Japan, and what they know about the history of Japan invading China. According to what we have surveyed, we bring out our own thoughts, give some suggestions, and offer some effective countermeasures. It is the theme forever in history teaching that we should build up our sense of responsibilities to the history of our nation. We should try our best to lead the students and the public to concern about the history, to remember the histroy, not the revenge, and also to inpsire them to make our country strong, to cultivate and improve their cultural quality, to form a comprehensive and correct view to the histroy.
