| Education is the hope of the Chinese nation's rejuvenation. Teachers are the hope of the education's rejuvenation. The teachers' self assessment, which can most effectively inspire the teachers' intrinsic motivation and mobilize the teachers' working initiative, plays a crucial role in leading the teachers to work more scientifically and efficiently, and in promoting the teachers to develop more professionally.The teachers' self assessment is still a new subject, which hasn't been paid a great attention to. As the reform of education develops, teachers are playing a dominant role. The teachers' self assessment has conditioned the teachers' professional development. Therefore, based on surveying the teachers and the headmasters of the middle schools in Haining City, this dissertation is trying to find out how they think of the teachers' self assessment, and to analyze the problems of the teachers' self assessment, and the factors of affecting the teachers' self assessment. This dissertation is trying to figure out the way to perform the efficient function of the teachers' self assessment, mobilize the energies of the teachers, and promote the teachers' professionally developing. In writing, the dissertation draws on many international and domestic scholars and specialists' research fruits concerning the teachers' self assessment, etc. As to the research methods, it mainly uses literature research, questionnaire, interview, case analysis, etc. In the whole research process, it has been through theory elaboration, positive survey, and reason analysis and countermeasure research.It has three main parts. First is the beginning part. According to the social background, the current situation and the importance of the teachers' self assessment, it introduces the cause of the dissertation. And it is focused on the sum total of research, the major contents, the basic framework and research method. The first chapter is the basis of the research, which provides the theories and the concepts. It epitomizes and analyzes the theory research at home or abroad and tries to figure out the basis of the research. It compares the practice and the exploring of the teachers' self assessment in different countries, and summarizes the experience and the revelation to the education of our country. The second chapter is focused on the current situation analysis of the middle school teachers' self assessment. By surveying and interviewing, to learn about the teachers and the headmasters' view and attitude of the teachers' self assessment. In the purpose of providing the objective evidence for improving and developing the teachers' self assessment, analyze the problems in the teachers' self assessment, involving three aspects that are local educational administrative department, schools and teachers. The third chapter is mainly about the thoughts and the suggestions about the teachers' self assessment. It describes the responsibilities of the local educational administrative department, the schools and the teachers, and offers the advice about the teachers' self assessment. It aims to enhance the effectiveness of the teachers' self assessment, to motivate the teachers' enthusiasm, and to promote the teachers' professional development.The creative point of this dissertation is to make a comprehensive analysis of the current situation of the teachers' self assessment by the ways of interview, questionnaire, etc. and to explore the methods of solving the problems in practice, so as to realize the real function of the teachers' self assessment and promote the teachers' professional development. |
