Abstract/Summary:
Since 20th century, the ideology of regarding pedagogy as science has the upper hand in arguing that what is the quality of the subject of pedagogy. Influenced by it, the viewpoint is prevailing in the pedagogy field that the pedagogy is a scientific research. Like other sciences, pedagogy knowledge achievement can be shared by the world.Furthermore, the scientific orientation, methodology, basis and characters are appearing frequently in constructing the pedagogy system. We pay more attention on the scientific aspect of pedagogy instead of humanities aspect, which is harmful to the pedagogy. The pedagogy has different names in different countries. People find the explanation of pedagogy since their own contexts. In Chinese context, the pedagogy is considered the whole of all the research on education. It is equal to"Educology"in the UK and the USA, the"Science de L′éducation"in France, the"p?dagogik"of Brezinka. That is to say, the task of pedagogy is to study the universal rational recognition activity and the common qualities of all the activities in education. In the pedagogy history, a lot of educators studied the humanities of the pedagogy with different aspects. There are 3 main aspects. They are"art education"ofУшинский,к.д's theory ,"culture science"of Von Heinrchi Rickert's theory and the"understanding theory"of Dilthey's humanity theory. With their theories, we can understand the humanities more complete. This article explains the humanities from 3 levels. First, at the level of ontology, the pedagogy should concern the human's"to be"in"life-world", the person in reality who grows up and surpasses the reality by receiving education. Second, at the level of value, the pedagogy should take the educational meaning as its choice which is different from other sciences. Finally, at the level of methodology, the pedagogy should pay more attention to the methodology of Hermeneutics and Phenomenology. Therefore, the pedagogy research should emphasize the understanding and experience of reality.The thesis aims to find the existing value and environment of the education once again and hopes to renew the methodology. This is also the meaning why we research the humanities of pedagogy.
