A Research On The Causal Relationship Between The Internet And Juvenile Criminality

Juvenile criminality has become an extrusive social issue. To prevent juvenile criminality not only relates to the stability and harmoniousness of one country, but also relates to the development of the young generation. Meanwhile, the connection between juvenile life and the internet has been closer. On the one hand, trend of criminality is increasing; on the other hand, the connection mentioned above is closer. Whether there is connection between the two phenomena or not and what causes this connection? Viewing on the internet and juvenile criminality, the writer find out that there is an obvious connection between the two phenomena. How does the internet influence the crime rate and what kind of change will be caused on juvenile mentality by the internet and what is the relationship between the changes and criminality? It is no doubt that these questions have close connection with the theory of juvenile criminality causes. This paper aims at analyzing the influence between the internet and juvenile criminality, and making a contribution to the research on the causes of juvenile criminality.This paper contains five parts: the first part is foreword; second is the introduction of the juvenile criminality which influenced by the internet; the third part is explanation on the influence between the internet and juvenile criminality; the forth part is prevention countermeasure; the fifths is the conclusion.The foreword present the internet influences juvenile criminality. The introduction part of this paper introduces the significance of this study and the general run of juvenile criminality which relates to the internet. The research on the influence between the internet and juvenile criminality can make a great contribution to analyze the causes of juvenile criminality. This part analyzes the representation of the influence between the internet and juvenile criminality. The internet influences juvenile criminality from the following three aspects: first, influences of harmful information on juvenile criminality, including sex and violence; second, making friends in the cyber bar and through the internet ; third, influences of addition to the internet , mainly refers to crimes against property.The second part of this paper is explanation on the influence between the internet and juvenile criminality, which is analyzed as a focal point. This paper has made use of theory of criminal cause in Criminology to explain the influence between harmful information and juvenile criminality, harmful intercourse and juvenile criminality, addition to the internet and juvenile criminality. Meanwhile, it also explains the criminality on line combining with juvenile mentality and points out that the prevention juvenile from socialization is perhaps a more primary cause to juvenile criminality.The third part is countermeasure to prevent the internet from influencing juvenile criminality. This paper believes that education, nomocracy and construction of macroscopical mechanism should be made good use of to prevent juvenile criminality.
