The quality of education depends on the high-level of the professionalism of teachers. Since the 1980s, teacher professional development to become teacher professional direction and theme. There is growing recognition that, only by constantly improving the professionalism of teacher education, the ways and means professional development, teachers' professional developing speed will be accelerated effectively. As a life, every teacher has his or her own development needs. Only by the teachers understand and meet the needs of self-professional development, the process can be a life experience. In the process of teacher professional development, We should be good at discovering, inspiring, guiding and balancing teacher needs, so that teachers can feel deeply the role and value of professional development to their life-long studying, occupational developing and educational practicing.The dissertation did a research on teachers' professional developing needs of pre-school teachers in southwest of China. In this dissertation, I will try to discover the features of pre-school teachers' needs, the factors of influencing of pre-school teachers' needs, and the strategies of promoting pre-school teachers' professional development.The dissertation consists of four parts.The preface introduces the studying problem, the concept of " teachers' professional developing needs ", and the studying methods and process, which includes the studying object, the studying methods and the process.Part two is the core of this dissertation, in which I try to find out the features of pre-school teachers' needs, which conclude the needs of professional developing teacher quality; developing approaches; developing environment.Part three analyses the factors of influencing pre-school teachers' needs, which conclude the factors of their own teachers; the factors of kindergarten management; the factors of parents of children.Part four presents some advice on how to concern, satisfy, guide teachers' needs and how to promote pre-school teacher professional development on the basic of the research.
