Research On Application Of The Internet Carrier To College Ideological And Political Education

Computer and the Internet provide a new platform for Ideological and Political Education. The two questions below should be considered. 1) How is the Internet used to serve Ideological and Political Education? 2) How is the Internet carrier used in Ideological and Political Education in order to achieve efficiency in education? It is a new and hot topic to answer and solve the questions in current ideological and political education in college. This paper illustrates the definition, characteristics, and functions of the Internet carrier in Ideological and Political Education with a review of the relative theories. It also analyzes the current application, and proposes some strategies to use the Internet carrier. There are three principal parts in this dissertation.The first part, "the definition, characteristics and functions of the Internet carrier in Ideological and Political Education and the significance of this research". Based on the definition, combined with the characteristics of internet, this dissertation analyzes the characteristics of the Internet carrier in Ideological and Political Education, i.e., this dissertation induces carrying with large content and fast speed, controllable and alternative target, invisible penetration, shareable reactivity, virtual harmony and open characteristics, concludes the five main functions of the Internet carrier in Ideological and Political Education. Conforming with the general trend of informationization in social development, it has analyzed the Ideological and political education network carrier research significance, held that the network will become the new and important carrier of Ideological and political education, which will bring new reform in education theories, thoughts, ideas, methods, content and so on., and also influences the effectiveness of the Ideological and political education radically under the new situationThe second part: "analysis of the present situation concerning application of Ideological and political education network carrier". It first analyzes and summarizes the encouraging change brought by network carrier applied in the university Ideological and political education which has produced remarkable progress, especially in theories of the network carrier's fundamental research .then, considering the negative influence of network on college students, it analyzes and summarizes the disparity and the questions in the application of network carrier. Finally, it analyzes and induces the reasons of these questions in terms of the carrier itself construction, educators' quality, fundamental research and so on.The third part: "strategies of how to scientifically use Ideological and political education network carrier and enhance the effect of Ideological and political education". First, taking scientific application and improvement of practical effect as the basic thoughts, traditional elementary theories of ideological and political education's as the foundation, with consideration of the characteristics of work culture in college, this dissertation proposes 5 principles in the application of Ideological and political education network carrier which instruct the combination of Ideological and political education and the network. Second, educators need to improve the understanding, renew ideas, facing challenges and opportunities in Ideological and political education brought by internet. In order to modernize Ideological and political education we must set up right value goals in the application of the network carrier, i.e., :the initiative to realize the network, raising outstanding talents adapting network society, improvement of the practical effect in Ideological and political education. Thirdly, concerning the problems in adapting educators to network carrier, it proposes cultivation in two layers: foundationally, to improve network quality of educators in Ideological and political education, i.e., information consciousness, information ability, the information morals; in high layer, it proposes the cultivation of multi-skilled "e+x" professional personnel', which elaborated 4 aspects in goals. Fourthly, the it develops education functions of Ideological and political education network carrier, in terms of position construction, the software construction and innovation of teaching methods. Fifthly, it proposes the innovation educational model. Combined with my own educational reform practice, this dissertation proposes that Ideological and political education's network educational model, elaborates the new pattern basic skeleton and the basic questions: basic connotation, characteristics, fundamental models of network educational model, basic ideas of new educational model's, and, simultaneously proposes the development direction of educational model.The author believes that the network, as the important carrier, has a huge and the profound influence on university Ideological and political education, and already widely applied in Ideological and political education. This application needs to clear off the mentality, overcome one-sided view that take network carrier as the tool, the technology, grasp the characteristics of network education, carry out the fundamental research thoroughly, integrate network and the Ideological and political education, strengthen cultivation of educators' information accomplishment, develop the education functions of network carrier positively, renew the ideas of education teaching activities under the network condition when using network carrier,, advance the educational reform and the practice positively and innovate educational model.
