Life-long education is the trend of the development of education and of the society. During the progressing of the transition from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture, we should study the life-long education on farmers, for the sake of a new socialist countryside, to boost the carrying out of the scientific outlook (thinking) on development, to accelerate the pace of building a well-off society and the process of the modernization of the rural area.By employing the method of literature search, comparison and induction, the author first present, from the angle of theoretic, the idea of life-long education and the basis of construct a life-long education system in rural areas of China. Combine with the reality, the author present the contents of the system and its difficulties. To solve the problem of this construction, the author gives her own ideas of solving the problems.The thesis contains five sections.Section I Introduction.In this section, the author first analysis the aims and the significances of this study and the current development both of domestic and abroad. Then she presents the contents, methods and thoughts of this study. And the author also points out the life-long education of farmers is the result of self-development of farmers and of the development of the society. So the issue of life-long education of farmers should be the focus of the people.Section II Theoretic basis of constructing a life-long education of fanners in China.The author analysis the theory of relative Human capital, the theory of adult education, the life-long education, and then gives a brief study of the history of life-long education. Then she sets forth the connotations, objectives and characteristics of life-long education, which makes base for the second and third section of this paper. Section III The necessities of constructing a life-long education of farmers in China.From the situation of our country, the author scans the actualities of Chinese fanner's education to sum up the major problems. And then she presents the real significances of the life-long education of farmers in China.Section IV The contents and difficulties in building the life-long education of farmers.The author, from the idea of apparent education of latent education, describes the concrete contents of constructing the life-long education of fanners in China. And then she presents the difficult points from the aspects of mental thoughts, capital investment, educational resources and assessments of education, etc.Section V The strategies and suggestions on constructing the life-long education of farmers in China.To solve the problems mentioned in the upper sections, the author brings up her own concrete suggestions and gives the introductive discuss on how to perfect the life-long education system in China for farmers.
