Education philosophy is a new subject. It's an important branch of education science, and is a methodology subject in education science,too. The relation between education and philosophy is very close, philosophy as a guide in aspect of education reforms and education activities, and education often put philosophy in practice. The " essence of education is Education philosophy. Education philosophy as a practical philosophy,it can make goals for education, improve the levels of educators and make a reasonable forecast for the development of education.so, study education philosophy have a very great significance for guiding the education .These features of education philosophy are elaborated by the pre-Qin Confucianism.Some writings,such as "The Analects of Confucius", "Mencius", "University", "Moderate", "Xunzi"contains rich thinking of education philosophy, to build education philosophy system with Chinese characteristics not only to learn the valuable ideas of modern Western education philosophy ,but also pay more attention to explore,collect and explain ancient and modern Chinese education philosophy.Education philosophy of the Pre-Qin Confucianism have a long history,which the essence are the purposes of education,the contents of education,the roles of education and the methods of education.It make a very important contribution in education history of China. Confucianism, especially the Confucius, Mencius and Xun Zi,they are the great educators, thinkers, philosophers in ancient China,they met some difficult problems in practical educational activities,and they make deep introspections on these issues,so they build a complete set of system theory,finally.Study education philosophy of the Pre-Qin Confucianism is not only the first task of writing the history of Chinese education philosophy,but also have a practical significance.Reconstruct Chinese education philosophy depends on introspecting the history of it. in the time of the Eastern and Western culture conflicts , education philosophy of the Pre-Qin Confucianism will give people a new inspiration, and open a new vision.there are six chapters in this paper: the background of the Pre-Qin period; the different ideas about human nature in the Pre-Qin Confucianism;the purpose of education in the Pre-Qin Confucianism;the moral education and the aesthetic education in the Pre-Qin Confucianism;the concept of teacher in the Pre-Qin Confucianism and the significance of the Pre-Qin Confucianism.
