This thesis firstly makes a brief introduction to some results from beauty research on mathematics formulas and theorems conducted by people or magazines in China and overseas. However, these surveys were mostly alloted to mathematicians, undergraduate students, or people who show great interests in mathematics, and none of them were took high school students as the subjects. As a high school teacher of math, I strongly advocate the beauty in mathematic. Therefore, I designed questionnaires for high school students, aimed at knowing their speculation on beauty in math. It is with the hope that more people will be engaged in the research that I made such a survey. Great attentions and deep reflections from textbook authors and more high school math teachers are expected by my study.Then, the whole process of the study and the results of this study is introduced specifically. Through the investigation, I found that a throng of senior high school students had insufficient awareness of beauty in mathematics, and some of them even hated mathematics. Even for ones who have experienced the beauty in mathematics, their ways in which they can feel the beauty are limited to discovery for more concise or tricky solutions to difficult problems. They can rarely obtain the essence of math beauty from textbooks' reading as well as teachers' lectures.In closing, I also delivered some of my personal ideas from the research, which is mainly about some recommendations for textbook writers and math teachers. It is my sincere hope that textbook writer can properly present the beauty of harmony, unity, conciseness and uniqueness from mathematics formulas and theorems, and that math teachers can tell students some mathematics breakthroughs were made during people's seek for beauty in mathematics. We may pay more attention to the practical applications of mathematics in our daily life. Therefore, students can realize mathematics is useful in our life. This is probably a more important factor to arouse students' great interests in mathematics.
