| The traditional teaching methodology for middle schools is too simple and monotonous, majorly because the geograhpy knowledge is acquired through a liguistical or literal channel. This, to a great extent failed to conform to the characteristics of geography teaching. However, this traditional method, though closely related to the condition of its time, could not be simplifized as too backward. With the development of technology, the impefection and improvement of the teaching equipment, the continuous creation of teaching therory, we are faciliated to demonstrate the geography theories and accidents by pictures, video etc. Geographical Spectacular teaching is to deliver the the book knoledge which could not be clearly expressed orally by means of vivid and direct spectacular to make the students feel the actual scene and to enble them to obtain geography information, acquire knowledge under this atmosphere . This dissertation is to dicuss in which aspects that the spectacular teaching will take positive effects on cultivating students; What kind of conditions a geography teacher should possese in carrying out spectacular teaching; how to cultivate the teacher as someone who can make good use of spectacular teaching; besides how to use thespectacular teaching in a right way in the geography class, etc. Inthe last part of this dissertation a teaching case is demonstrated:how to teach geography by using spectacular teaching effectively. |
