Study On Nongovernmental Organizations Participating In Community Service

With the deepening of China's economic system reformation, the significance and necessity of community service are increasingly standing out. Nongovernmental organizations, as an important part of public sector, providing community services will be the choice and request of Chinese development. Based on the analysis above, this paper chooses an activity "Red Cross care entering the community" carried out by Red Cross in A city as the case, applying the methods, as document analysis, depth-interview and questionnaire survey and so on, to study the Nongovernmental organizations' participation in community service. First, part analyzes the current situation of community service in A city, the condition of Red Cross participating the community service and difficulties faced. Secondly, SWOT of Red Cross participating the community service is analyzed, the suggestions to Red Cross participating in community service are proposed. Finally, the trend of community service development is summarized and the problems that Nongovernmental organizations need solve for providing efficient community service are discussed.
