Self-confidence is an important factor in individual personality structure, it can promote personal mental activity and mental development. Self-confidence is not inherent, but is formed in later experience, which plays an important role in individual life. Self-confidence can help students form a positive attitude and right philosophy, world view and value view. Self-confidence can promote students'potential. The junior middle school is an important stage for individual's body and mental development. In this stage, individual 's personality come into being, it still can be molded. So there is no doubt that study on middle school students' self-confidence has theoretical and realistic meaning. Mongolia and the Han Nationality live together in Inner Mongolia Region, and they have their own culture and influence each other. But every nationality has his particular history and custom.The study begins with the structure of self-confidence, chooses group subjects of Mongolian and the Han Nationality (600) randomly, and investigates Mongolia and the Han Nationality junior middle school students'self-confidence status using junior middle school personal evaluation inventory and self-efficacy questionnaire. On this basis, explores its influencing factors as well as correlation between self-confidence and influencing factors. Learn about Mongolia and the Han Nationality's self-confidence status in Inner Mongolia Region. Self-confidence difference between Mongolia and the Han Nationality junior middle school students in nationality, gender and grade. Self-efficacy, family status and grades have indirect effects on self-confidence. From this study, can draw some conclusion as following:1. Mongolia and the Han Nationality junior middle school students'self-confidence is a little low, the mean of every question in is less than 3.2. Mongolia and the Han Nationality junior middle school students'self-confidence has difference in nationality, Mongolian junior middle school students'self-confidence is higher than the Han Nationality in the aspect of school self-confidence, appearance self-confidence, social self-confidence, the whole self-confidence and general scores. The difference is significant in the T-test (p<.01), the difference is not significant in the aspect of physical movement and fellowship.3. Mongolia and the Han Nationality junior middle school students'self-confidence has difference in gender, female self-confidence is higher than male self-confidence in the aspect of physical movement and fellowship(p<.001)in the T-test, but male self-confidence in the aspect of school self-confidence, appearance self-confidence , social self-confidence and general self-confidence scores.4. Mongolia and the Han Nationality junior middle school students'self-confidence difference is not significant in T-test, but from the mean of general self-confidence, self-confidence of students in grade three is highest, then grade one, the last is grade two.5. Mongolia and the Han Nationality junior middle school students'self-efficacy, family status and grades have effects on self-confidence, and have positive correlation to self-confidence.Self-confidence is a very complex concept, the research only studies Mongolia and the Han Nationality junior middle school students'self-confidence status and influencing factors, its inner psychological mechanism and process of development and change is a big subject to be studied in future. |
