With the fast speed of scientific development of human beings,the limited knowledge achieving from school in the way of inculcation cannot be suitable for the demand for talents in this society. Therefore, the conceptions of life-long education and life-long study become popular. As a significant aspect of life-long education, fundamental education is experiencing enormous reform.Along with the reform of new subject, changing the students'learning method is the core mission and obvious characteristic of the reform. In the Essentials of Course Reformation of Elementary Education announced by The Ministry of Education, students'self-study is expected,repeated, and advocated. Self-study is also demanded in full-time schooling of chinese.Admittedly, there are a lot of limits in the traditional teaching model ,teacher talking and student listening ,which will definitely become backwards and be replaced by the new type of classroom teaching mode. So, how to cultivate students'capacity of self-study? Which type of classroom teaching approach is benefit for cultivate and develop the capacity of self-study? These questions currently are the most important ones for all the teachers.There are four sections in this dissertation. In the first section, the author illustrated the meaning, the necessity and feasibility of establishing a self-study classroom teaching mode in elementary school, and the current research results of self-study in both domestic and abroad, all of which can fully explain the reason of choosing this topic.In the second section, the conception of self-study was expatiated by the author from the theoretical view, and the features of self-study of pupils,which not only enhanced the complete comprehension of self-study's essential character under the new subject teaching mode, but also prevented the teaching practice from making mistakes.In the third section, the author focused on the central mission of teaching the Chinese subject and advice to establish a "first to study,then to teach, by to study primarily. after first practices,then to teach, practices primarily" self-study teaching mode in classroom in elementary school , and then illustrated the conception of this mode, its theoretical base, the teaching target, the procedure and its conditions in details. In the last section, the author took The Early Youth ,Runtu as an example,which continued to show the procedure of this mode. Finally, the author illustrated the research direction in future and hope this dissertation can be helpful to other teachers who also wish to change the traditional teaching mode and establish a new one which is suitable for the criterions of new teaching mode in classroom.
