| The second year in senior middle school is the key period for thestudents. Especially for their biology learning, who go on to pick it up after theyfinished it two years ago in middle school. According to the past teaching experiences,the students are easily come into two polarized parts in the learning of biology at thistime. we can find the students are stratified in biology learning over a half term'slearning and the comparison of the results of two monthly examinations, we can'tachieve procrustean uniformity, because it may lead several students fall behind, feelbored and even give up. It' s so called "stratification" , so we need to give a multipleteaching methods. Considering every student' s development, we should consider usingstratified teaching method to solve this problem."Stratified teaching" is a teaching means the present teachers prefer to use. It isalso a method which teaching students in accordance of their aptitude under the classschool-teaching system. That is to say teachers design their teaching aim, plan teachingcontent and choose teaching method respectively according to the students' foundationof knowledge, intellectual levels, learning ability and their interests in the subjects sothat they can aim at different students to instruct their learning and offer differentteaching, thus urging students to have an all-round, continuous and harmoniousdevelopment. When we put the "Stratified teaching" in practice in senior middleschool, we should follow such principles: the quality of main body, the lowest line,dynamic, arrangement, integer, democracy, equality and so on.According to above principles, contra posing the learning achievement badly comeinto two polarized parts and lack of self-confidence in biology learning, the article isbased on the study of my students learning, combing other teachers' experience with myown teaching practice and exploration. It gives a general discussion and rethinking tothe stratified teaching procedures and concerned questions from a highly stratifiedstudents, stratified teaching aims, stratified teaching and stratified comments severalaspect etc. It takes me three months to finish this experiment research, which urged usto achieve the following three points: First, meet different students' needs and try to improve their scores relatively thenrestrain the polarization of students.Second, enable the students to connect basic knowledge with their experimentoperation, this is good for their practice skills and improves them.Third, improve the students' enthusiasm for the class with the interaction betweenstudents and teachers, and themselves.After a phase of experiment, though the phenomena of two polarized parts stillexist, pupil's achievement have some enhance, the disparity are getting smaller, theconsolidating of the basic knowledge make students know the principle and the purposeof the experiment more clearly, the ability of experiment operating have been improved,students have more self-confidence in learning biology. Students also have high interestand classroom atmosphere getting more active, Via this experiment, we can see that "Stratified teaching" can make teachers in the face of all the students in class, satisfypupil's learning demand, fully exerting pupil's individual characteristic. It can influencestudents from" compel me to learn" into" I am eager to learn". In one word, "Stratifiedteaching" can meet the need of the age, and it is the real embodiment of theQuality-oriented Education. |
