A Study On The Trait And Relationship Of Subjective Well-Being And General Sense Of Self-Efficacy For Vocational College Students In Fuzhou

This thesis is based on the study of vocational college students in Fuzhou. We adopt the Vocational College Students' Subjective Well-Being Scale devoloped by ourselves and the General Sense of Self-Efficacy Scale by Professor Wang Lei to study the trait and relationship of subjective well-being(SWB) and general sense of self-efficacy(GSSE) for vocational college students in Fuzhou, in the hoping of promoting theoretic and practical suggestions for the vocational college education.The result shows that: (1)The Vocational College Students' Subjective Well-Being Scale is of quite satisfactory validity and reliability. (2) The SWB of vocational college students in Fuzhou is under average level, but the GSSE is on the average level. (3)Female and male students are significant different on GSSE:male students have a higher GSSE than female students. Meanwhile, male students have a signifcant higher Self-satisfation but lower Study-satisfaction and Condition-satisfaction than female students.(4)The students of different grades, majors, regions and only-children-or-not are not significant different on SWB and GSSE, but the students of Art have a significant higher Condition-satisfaction and Study-satisfaction than the students of Science; The Only-children have a significant lower Condition-satisfaction than the Non-Only-Children. (4) "Grade-and-Major" and "Only-Child-or-Not -and -Gender" have a significant Between-Subjects effect on SWB and GSSE.(6) "Only-Child-or-Not-and-Region" and "Major-and -Region" have a significant Between-Subjects effect on SWB only, while "Grade-and -Gender" has a significant Between-Subjects effect only on GSSE.(5) GSSE has a significant positive correlation with SWB. Meanwhile, GSSE greatly forecasts Self-satisfaction, negative emotion, positive emotion and SWB.
