Our information society needs information quality. Goodquality is the key fact to win the competition and it is a basicquality for every citizen. So it is the basic requirement forschools to train students' information quality. It is the mostimportant period for teenagers to form their outlook on life andworld outlook in middle school. Therefore, we should try our bestto enable the students to screen and get information rapidly, toidentify the information correctly, to process and handleinformation correctly. Mean while the students must have apositive attitude to use information and strictly obey the moralrules of information. Only in this way can they adapt to thenecessity of the development of information society and thenecessity of learning all their life. Only in this way can thestudents become a qualified citizen.As a teacher who teaches computer skills all the time in highschool, I really consider it a real and meaningful task to trainthe students' information quality consciously when teaching.This essay uses the ways of the integration of theory with practice,the comparison of history with reality, the combination of theoryanalysis with example analysis, to study the problemcomprehensively, systematically and deeply.This essay can be divided into five parts. The first part isa brief-introduction, in which the author introduces thebackground, the train of thought and ways to study. The second partexplains the content of information quality, the necessity totrain the information quality of high school students, the formscharacteristics and the evaluation of students' information quality. The third part combines the investigation chart with themeasurement of the present situation of students' informationquality, including information consciousness, informationability and information moral rules, to analyse the reasons whymiddle school students have lower information quality. The fourthpart is the core part of the essay, which discusses the strategyto train the students' information quality from six aspects. Thefifth part is an experimental process from theory to reality, whichuses some of the strategies to practice teaching computer skillsin order to study the practical ways of training the students'information quality.During the course of research, the author knows that we cannottrain the students' information quality and enable them in a shortperiod. It is a long-term job. The whole society must stick toworking hard at this. So we hope we can draw attention of thesociety to the training of students' information quality with thehelp of this essay.
