Strengthening the responsibility education has become thecommon matter concerned by the international organizations, thenational leadership as well as the entire society.The so-calledresponsibility education refers to foster the human's innermostfeelings of responsibility and the level of responsibility understandingas the main content, covering the responsibility emotion, theresponsibility will, the responsibility ability and so on a series ofeducational activities. At present, the theory research about theresponsibility education, mainly concentrates in three aspects: one,the research about responsibility education to the social moralsignificance and effects; two, the research about concepts,peculiarities, spirit essence, practical significance of responsibilityand the important role that responsibility consciousness plays in thesocial development; Three, the research about the ways ofresponsibility education.By investigating to students in theuniversities and colleges, the writer finds out that at present theresponsibility education for current students presents markedpeculiarities from three aspects: one is the differences among groups;two is contradictions in individual inner life; three is generalweakness. In the current situation, it is especially important todevelop responsibility education for university students.It isembodied from five aspects: first, the responsibility education is needto individual existence, development and realizing social value;second, it is need to impel the social development; third, it is need tocomprehensively promote the university students' idea politicseducation; fourth, it is need to guarantee university students healthgrowth; fifth, it is need to realize the university education goal.Strengthening university student responsibility education, shouldpersist three basic principles, taking the socialism values as theinstruction, the entire society's participation and guaranteeinguniversity students' subject status. In the process of developing university students responsibility education, must be clear about fiveconcrete goals, namely training the university students' level andfeelings of understanding to system standards, fostering correctbenefit view and the values, raising fair idea, promoting "emotionquotient" and the university student to form the good habitsundertaking responsibility. In order to achieve five goals mentionedabove, should do the work from several aspects: One, giving theexemplary role, make the good responsibility education environment;two, respecting objective law, carry forward responsibility educationcomprehensively and gradually; three, valuing ability training, takethe responsibility ability education as important content ofresponsibility education; four, taking supervise ways, establish thescience education goal inspection system. In the university studentsresponsibility education, must pay attention to two aspects: One is notonly opposing the irresponsible manner, also opposing views to beresponsible of all, to avoid falling into the responsibility nihilism mire;two is not to emptily talk responsibility education, also is not to usethe pure utilitarianism thought to discuss the responsibility education.
