Research On Effective Teaching Of Senior English Based On The New Curriculum Standard

Abstract: With the gradual development of the basic educational curriculum reform, it is becoming an important and urgent task for our English teaching staff to construct the English teaching that fits in with the new curriculum reform for senior English.First, this article starts with the research in the present condition of English teaching in senior middle school, analyzing the principal problems existing in present English teaching,discussing the main factors which lead to all these problems,and then advances the teaching strategies on effective teaching of senior English based on the new curriculum standard so as to promote the new curriculum reform being carried out smoothly.Secondly, this article illustrates the importance and urgency of constructing the effective teaching of senior English in three aspects, basing on the background of new curriculum reform of basic education in China.The research not only helps the smooth development of present English teaching in senior middle school, but also has important learning value for the teaching of other subjects in basic education.Thirdly, by analyzing the present condition of English teaching in senior middle school, the article points out the principal problems existing in present English teaching and pursuit the main reasons for these problems.Finally,the article emulates the related theories of effective teaching from educational experts at home and abroad,combines the principle ideas of the new curriculum standard, and puts forward the teaching strategies on effective teaching of English in senior middle school under the background of the new curriculum standard.
