At present, it has been generally accepted that some college graduates couldn't better adapt themselves to society, conform to the demands of times, meet all kinds of social needs and keep pace with the development of society harmoniously. The causes are related to graduates themselves, society, talent training modes of colleges and universities and so on. However, colleges and universities, as the nuclear organizations of education and training bases for various talents, are greatly responsible for the issue. It is well worth considering for us how to analyze the important influence of colleges and universities on the problem and to work out an effective solution basically. Based on academic analyses and empirical investigations, the research discusses the issue, following what adaptation is, why to adapt, how to adapt and how to realize the beneficial adaptation. The paper starts with the research background and the research topic, and then explains some key words. After coming up with the current conditions of graduates and discussing the causes, the article stresses further the importance and the necessity of study, studies level training of personnel evaluation system on Changzhou Institute of Engineering Technology for introducing the effects of Evaluation of Personnel Training Quality in colleges and universities on the social adaptability of college graduates, and makes scientific researches on related index systems, in order to establish a set of reasonable and practical evaluation index system on social adaptability of graduates from the standpoint of employment units. At last, the writer puts forward some suggestions to colleges and universities, hoping it is helpful to enhance social adaptability of graduates, to raise employment rate, to relieve employment pressures, and eventually to promote the rapid development of higher education in our country.
