The Research On The Development Of Moral Education In High Education

With the great changes in social environment and education targets, the effectiveness of moral education in colleges and universities is not as well as our expecting. Many affairs about bad manners happern frequently. The traditional moral education in high education has trasformed toward morden developmental moral education. The hermeticalc and simple mode of thinking on tradinonal moral education need to be critacally deconstructed. Doing this reaserch is the need of the development of socity and the need of healthy growth of students.This reseach has referenced the self-organization metaphor, equality, openness and pluralism from mode of thingking on post-modernism education. It has summeried and referenced many theories from relating scholars, and defined the developmental moral education.It also did the reasearch on builting up and practice the developmental moral education in high education.The so-called developmental moral education is actrally the transformation of the traditional restrictive education. It fully respects the dominant position of students in the process of moral education. It aims to train the object of morden moral education, and develp good character. Which is treating students as main body in moral education, and help their development of character. Developmental moral education has been regarded as a spirit activity, which affects people's heart and soul. It is a kind of interactive activities which use moral characte to influence hunman characte.It is no longer preaching and restraint imposed edcation, however it is depend students nature and teat moral education as inherent needs of studendts.It is democratic, and put its attention on inspiring students to moral consciousness. It trains students the ability of distinguishing between right and wrong, the ability of self-educating, and the moral ability in practice.
