However, the modern adolescents grew up under the effect of Internet. On the one hand, they accept the good aspect of Internet; on the other hand, they also accept the bad aspect of Internet, especially online game. It prevails among adolescents, which causes serious effect on adolescents and brings unstable factors to families and society.The reasons why adolescents indulge in online games are various and the phenomenon is affected by many factors. First of all, from the angle of internal cause, adolescents are in the special phrase of life and the interaction of many factors conditions the mentality development of adolescents. The internal contradictions of adolescents make up the motive force of the mentality development of adolescents. The adolescents are in the unbalanced state of psychological and mentality development, which determines that the adolescents have the contradictions of juvenility and mature, annoyance and wish, dependence and independence. In case these contradictions cannot be solved in the correct perspective, and adolescents are affected by personal special psychological features, they will try to find out the ways to ease the contradictions from online games. Besides, as a kind of addiction cause, online games can increase the positivity emotion, once the players are in the games for quite a long time, and the time reaches to a certain extent, player will have a sensation of relaxation and pleasure. However, in case they do not play online games, they will be upset and anxious, and they will be eager to play online games. Secondly, from the angle of external cause, family education, public education and social education have effect on the adolescents. Parents and teachers cannot satisfy the adolescents in the aspects of concept, educational methods and knowledge, and to Internet, they cannot understand it clearly, and also, they cannot realize that online games are harmful to the adolescents. They cannot lead the adolescents to treating network in the correct perspective. Besides, at present, government cannot standardize the network and improve the related regulations and laws.The author took the students of two middle schools (one is junior middle school, and the other is senior middle school) as research target.'Online Game Addiction Inventory'and questionnaire have been dispensed to the students, and the results are that first of all, most of the students play online games, 10.4% of whom have been addicted to online games. The number of the students of junior middle school is larger than that of senior middle school, and the number of boys is larger than that of girls. Secondly, most of the students go to Internet bars to play online games, and most of the Internet bars accept the students. Thirdly, the teachers of junior middle school do not allow the students to go to the Internet bar, and they carry out frequent inspections, however, most of the teachers of senior high school educate the students not to play online games in net bars orally, but they do not take specific measures.To the phenomenon of adolescents indulging in online games, various circles of the society should pay attention to and take measures. The parents should concern and understand the adolescents properly, and should not give the adolescents over-high requirements. The parents should help the adolescents weather the adolescence smoothly. The teachers should advance with times and understand what prevails among the adolescent, and examine and distinguish all the factors to lead them to understanding the factors in the correct perspective. The society should give the adolescents a good atmosphere. The government should carry out effective regulations and laws related to the adolescents, and to the unfavorable factors which can bring bad effect on the adolescents, the government should intensify the elimination of them. |
