in order to improve the students'humanities quality education in highschool in Jiangsu ,the article by the means of data—collecting, practical investigation, mathematical statistic and logical analysis. Its aim is to find out the current situation and the subjective and objective factors of restricting the development of the students'humanities quality education of sports and physical education in high school in Jiangsu , to analyze the necessity of the students'humanities quality education of sports and physical education in high school in jiangsu. It puts forward the proposals enhancing the students'humanities quality education of sports and physical education in high school in Jiangsu based on the above so that it can offer the accurate, reliable, subjective basis and reference to the education policy—making body. It has significant meanings to improve the whole levels of the the students'humanities quality education of sports and physical education in high school in jiangsu and to adapt to the needs of the society. During the studies on the current situation of the students'humanities quality education of sports and physical education in high school in jiangsu, the author finds that the whole levels of the students'humanities quality education of sports and physical education in high school in jiangsu is poor. their humanities knowledge structure are not perfect and distributed unbalanced—senior students are better than junior students, some students'attitude towards study are not correct, they pay more attention to the course's utility and function when they choose courses. There are many factors that lead to the whole levels of the students'humanities quality of sports and physical education in high school in jiangsu such as being short of understanding on carrying out the humanities quality education, the particularity of the sports and physical education and the students'origin, the restrictive condition for running a school and the curriculum, the teachers'humanities quality levels and the influence of the campus'environment. These factors always mingle with each other, infuence the students'humanities quality education of sports and physical education in high school in jiangsu, restrict the improvement of the students'humanities quality. To counter this situation, the author proposes several feasible measures so that they can improve the students'humanities quality education of sports and physical education in high school in jiangsu. For example, changing the educational concept, taking a correct attitude toward running a school, not only the school leaders, the teachers but also the students should have the educational outlook, opinions on talent and the teaching opinions which accord with the demands of the times; making full use of the superiority of sports and physical education ,tapping the humanities meanings of the specialized courses in order to make the content of the specialized courses more richer; giving full play to the students'principal part of function, valuing the students'main position in the course of teaching, bringing students'own initiative into full play so that the students'quality can beformed from passivity to initiative; adjusting the curriculum, enhancing the power of teachers, improving the campus environment. Besides, in order to carry out the measures of enhancing the humanities quality education more effectively, the author puts forward the opinions that we should deal with several relations—understanding and action, knowledge and quality, humane education and scientific education, quantity and quality during we improve the students'humanities quality education of sports and physical education in high school in jiangsu, so that we can carry out the work more smoothly. The author draws a conclusion based on the research: At present, the students'humanities quality education of sports and physical education in high school in Jiangsu are still poor, the whole levels of students'humanities quality are weak; some humane courses have been increased this years, but the relevant courses of physical education still constitute the majority. Thus, we should improve the students'humanities quality education according to changing the educational concept, taking acorrect attitude towards running a school, making full use of the supreiority of the physical education, giving full play to the students'initiative, adjusting the curriculum, enhancing the power of the teachers and improving the teaching environment.
