With the development of social and economy, the deepening reform in education of university's sports, especially Ministry of Education issued of the outline about the sports education bachelor degree course scheme of the national university and college and backbone course teaching in 2003 year, make very great change on the content of courses objective of the physical educational profession all produce. At the same time, adjust and optimize oneself as the basketball teaching material, in order to adapt to the social demand.The basketball teaching material's advance and scientific will play a role in holding the balance to the quality of basketball teaching and development of basketball sports. Since the " ball game " of the undergraduate course teaching materials first published in 1961 (Volume One ), to"The ball game– basketball"published by the Higher Education Press in 2005, sports of our country educates the professional undergraduate course basketball to required teaching material reach 8 editions. Then, which regularity contents are demonstrated in the teaching material construction? Which problems needs us to solve?
