Research On Mechanism Of School-based Teacher Training Based On The High School New Curriculum

Teacher training is the urgent demand as well as the crucial insurance to push forward China's Quality-Oriented Education and successfully fulfill the reform of high school curriculum. With the continual advancement of the reform of the high school curriculum, the contradictions between the urgent training needs and limited training resources become apparent. In addition, the high school teachers have no time to be further educated for they are fully preoccupied with their work load. Therefore, School-based teacher training, a possible way out to solve the contradictions between work and further education, has been adopted by many high schools. Properly aimed, highly effective, comparatively flexible, School-based teacher training, which is an effective educational mechanism for further education of the school teachers, is attached great importance by high schools and plays an important role in the teacher training of the high school new curriculum.On the basis of the literature survey, this thesis tries to study theteacher training of the high school new curriculum from the perspective of training contents, methods and training management so as to make clear the current situation of the teacher training of the high school new curriculum, the past achievements and deficiencies, which will serve for the further study of School-based teacher training. An analysis of the practice of School-based teacher training from the view of high schools constructs the operating procedures of School-based teacher training, provides means and methods of School-based teacher training so that high schools can make choices according to its actual situation.This thesis explores School-based teacher training from the operating stratum to improve teachers'ability of the fulfillment of new curriculum. The innovations of this thesis are as following: First, the thesis clearly points out School-based teacher training in high school new curriculum so that high school teachers are well aware that it is a must for them to improve their professional knowledge. Secondly, the thesis tries to make clear what type of training contents and training means are welcomed by high school teachers in the implement of the new curriculum through surveys of teachers and talks with the school leaders. Thirdly, this thesis explores the practice of School-based teacher training of the high school new curriculum, verifying the training from training methods and means to evaluation, which helps to construct the mechanism of teacher training of high school new curriculum.The focus of this study is to probe into the mechanism of teacher training of high school new curriculum from the perspective of training contents, methods and management, so as to provide training schemes for the teacher training of high school new curriculum including training contents, training methods, follow-up investigation and its application into practice.Based on the analysis of the current situation of School-based teacher training home and abroad, the author presents the aim and methods of this study. Furthermore, an empirical analysis of School-based teacher training is done and the existing problems in the current School-based teacher training are also analyzed from training contents, training methods and training management. Moreover, the thesis states the significance of the practice of School-based teacher training to the promotion of the reform of high school new curriculum. At last, the author illustrates the theoretical basis of the construction of School-based teacher training mechanism and the training contents, means and methods, the construction of the training management as well.
