Burnout is extreme response that teachers can't successfully cope with the job stress, and it is a prolonged response to chronic emotional and interpersonal stressors on the job. Recently, the research on teachers'job burnout has become the core of the educational psychology. Purpose of this research is discuss the actuality of elementary school teachers'job burnout in Dalian. The research on the basic of Maslach's three dimension theory, compile"elementary school teachers'job burnout inventory"include exhaustion, cynicism and inefficacy, using it to assess elementary school teachers'job burnout, there are two studies:Study 1: To explore the mental structure of teachers'job burnout, based on an explor-atory factor analysis on the elementary school teachers'job burnout inventory.Study 2: exerting questionnaire, assess 180 teachers'status of job burnout from grade 1 to grade 6, discuss the level and status of job burnout.Result indicates:1, elementary school teachers'job burnout include three dimension——exhaustion, cyn-icism and inefficacy.2, Self-deprecating"elementary school teachers'job burnout inventory"has superior re-liability and validity.3, There are differences on the level of job burnout because of the different sex, school age, teacher age, the title of a technical post, the grade they teach.
