The campus identity of graduate refers the overall impression and evaluation of staff members and other students in colleges have toward graduates under circumstances, which is formed by external performance determined by the internal physiological and psychological features of graduates. The essay adopted the Questionnaire on Graduate's Campus Identity of Southwest University and carried out research among 199 graduate, 96 teachers and 314 other students in Southwest University, the result showed that:(1) Overall, teachers and students agreed that graduates in Southwest University had good campus identity.(2) There was major and grade difference in students' evaluation. Science students had better evaluation than liberal arts students; Moreover, the result showed that junior and senior had better evaluation than freshmen and sophomore. Among all students, senior had the best evaluation for the graduates' campus identity in Southwest University.(3) There was no gender and major difference in teachers' evaluation.(4) There was grade difference in the graduates' self-evaluation. The result showed that graduates of Grade 1 had the most positive self-evaluation among three grades, and graduates of Grade 3 had the worst self-evaluation relatively. (5) The results also represented the problems. Teachers and students of Southwest University generally thought the graduates lacked vigor and enthusiasm in university's events. In the self-evaluation, most graduates in the research thought their dressing too boring and conservative. Some of them thought their academic level should be improved. The results also showed that there was not enough communication between graduates and the others students. And some graduates wished they would have better interpersonal relations and self-esteem.In light of these problems, we put forward advice as follow:(1) The graduates of Southwest University should be independent and self-reliant, strengthen their awareness of identity, better up the learning skills and establish the better identity in practice.(2) Bring the role of the Student Union into full play. The Student Union should create more chance to enrich graduates' cultural life, provide more opportunity for the better communication between graduates and the other students, and help graduates to know society better.The essay pioneers to adopt the demonstration research in the study of graduates' campus identity. It not only enriches the demonstration researches content in the field of CIS to some degree, but also has a meaningful exploration and trial in the quantitative research of identity.
