The development of social modernization inevitably brings the profound change to the ideological and moral domain, and has provided the condition for the development of ideological and moral education, also sets the new request to the ideological and moral education. How to complete the moral education work in new time is a question which urgently waits to be solved. An important way is to study and model various countries school moral education experience.Valuing universities moral education research, has extremely vital significance to raise socialism enterprise constructors and successors, stable national and the socialism modernization general situation and realize person's full scale development. This article takes the education of the Chinese and American moral education as the research object, and has carried on the comparison on the goal, the content, the environment, the way and the method of the Chinese and American universities moral education. Having pointed out through the comparison the Chinese and American universities the similarities and differences which exist in the moral education goal, the content, the environment, the way and the method, provided some beneficial enlightenment and ponder for our country universities' moral education in terms of taking account of displaying the consulted instruction to moral education guidance, enhancing moral education fundamental research and modeling recessive moral education method and so on.
