Nowadays, with the rapidly development of science and technology,the whole world pays more attention to the setting-up of the integrated science curriculum because of amalgamation of different subjects,which is a new challenge to the curriculum reform of our basic education.The curricula of《Science》(from Grade7 to Grade9)is a newly started general course during the new turn of reformation of the basic education course with the aim to foster the scientific accomplishment and it not only covers the primary physics,chemistry,biology and geography of junior high school but also extends in astronomy and some other intercross subjects and fields.Based on literature rsearch, this paper elaborated the research background of the topic from the basic conception and the aim of science curricula, and makes an observation as well as a research on the situation of science curriculum implementation by using the methods of questionnaires, classroom-watched and documents-analysis, then summarized the main problems of the science curriculum practice. Thoroughly discusses the connotation, the aim and the approach of science education from the essence of science, then analyses the fundamental causation of above-mentioned problems, and try to bring forward new expectation to stimulate the further perfection of the curricula.This paper is composed of five parts.The first and second parts illustrates the development of science curricula of junior high school is an inevitable current from the basic conception and the aim of science curricula and it introduces the status of the innovation and development of the curricula at home and broad.The third part concludes the four main problems during the practice of science curricula as follows: the argument of branch and integration, the irrationality of our education evaluated system, the relatively backward of educating our teachers and the hurry of writing the teaching materials.The fourth part thoroughly discusses the connotation, the aim and the approach of science education from the essence of science, then analyses the fundamental causation of above-mentioned problems as follows:the misunderstanding of scientific curriculum and practice,and the limitation of external environment in scientific curriculum implements.The last part brings forward new expectation of the curriculum reform and practice.The appendix of the paper is the consulting questionnaire of the teaching materials' writing staff of Wuhan.At the same time it provides the framework and system of the teaching materials of Wuhan. |
