The rapid development of information society has made information literacy one of the basic existent skills for human beings. Information literacy came into being with times as a multiplied; diversified and constantly developed synthetic concept. Information literacy of college students is the important integrated portion, one of the important topics in modern educational research and highly emphasized by educational experts at home and abroad.The report on the work of the Government delivered by Premier Wen Jiabao at the fifth session of the tenth NPC on March 5, 2007 points out,"We need to make education a strategic priority and accelerate the development of all types of education at all levels. The overall goal is to expand the availability of compulsory education and consolidate progress already made, accelerate the development of vocational education and strive to improve the quality of higher education.""We will accelerate reform of education and teaching in higher education with the focus on improving quality, keep the scale of enrollment relatively stable, increase efforts to develop leading disciplines and universities, make innovations in the model for producing capable personnel and improve the mix of capable personnel being produced in order to produce large numbers of outstanding personnel. College students are key factors in improving the quality of higher education. Information literacy is, as one of the key skills the scientific literacy for college students. The assessment of information literacy for college students and accordingly to improve information literacy is of great realistic significance to satisfy the needs of educational information, build up harmonious higher institutions and improve the quality of higher education. As a informative educational worker, the author realizes to a larger extent the importance of information literacy, combines practice and current social environment and has made the research analysis of information literacy of college students from a realistic perspective.This paper aims to analyze the assessment systems of information literacy of college students. By means of data reference, material search, interviews of experts, questionnaire investigation analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy combined assessment and etc. The paper utilizes the research achievements of scholars and experts and defines the concept of information literacy of college students. Combined with practical investigation, taking Information Literacy Ability Standard of Higher Education Information as reference, through interviews of experts, we have decided the information literacy assessment index of college students. Through the questionnaire investigation of experts, making use of analytic hierarchy process, we have defined the weighing of various indexes and thus systems of information literacy of college students have been formed. Through the questionnaire investigation of college students, we have made demonstrations by using fuzzy combined assessments.This research has constructed the assessment systems of information literacy of college students, which can be used as an important evidence and powerful instrument. It is of great importance to the needs of the development, to the individual growth of college students, to the improvement of the quality of higher education and to the construction of harmonious campus.
