| Health is an everlasting pursue for human beings. It is oneof the fundamentals conditions for human beings' existence anddevelopment. It is also a signal of energeticalness.Psychological health, as an important ingredient, has long beena general concern. As much as psychological health is concerned,college students as a special group show some worrying signs. Thisthesis, with SCL-90 adopted and questionnaire conducted, makesan analysis of Guangdong college PE majors' psychological healthstatus. The result shows that: (1) Guangdong college PE majors'psychological health status is better than peers (compared withyouths national wide). GD's index are as follows, 29.4% mentaldisorder, in which the percentage of medium degrees is 6.03%, andthat of slight degrees is 23.4%. The hierarchy is as follows:Obsessive Compulsion(1.97%),hostility(1.97%)＞interpersonalsensitiVity(1.69%)＞paranoid ideation (1.59%)＞phobic anxiety(1.50%)＞depression (1.41%). (2) The status of majors from townis better than that of majors from country. The status of majorswhose parents are both alive and harmonious is better than thatof majors without. The former show a high level of psychologicalhealth as far as SCL-90 scores are concerned. (3) The SCL-90 scores are higher with college students who are not satisfied with theirown majors, who are always task-burdened, and who are worriedabout seeking employment, compared with those without. (4) TheSCL-90 scores are higher with college students who have lost theirhearts or who are in one-sided love are higher than those without.from the results above, the thesis concludes that factors thatcontribute to the psychological problems of college PE majors areage, family relationship, single son or daughter, task burden,love, one-sided love. To solve the problems and effectively raisethe status of psychological health, colleges, family, society andstudent individuals should cooperate and make endeavors. |
