With the further development of innovation on the new curriculum, teachers aswell as their students have to face the conflict between new chemistry classes andtradition ones. The writer focuses on the following objects: to bring students' initiativeinto full play, to do what the new curriculum requires, to promote the efficiency oflearning, and to fulfill the complete development of personality for each student,simultaneously to better the results in study.A large number of teaching practices in education and psychology have showedthat the same results and effects towards different students cannot be achieved nomatter what methods have been adopted by the chemistry teachers since greatindividual differences do exist among students while learning, besides, reasons forsuch diversities lie in many aspects, Beginning with the diversity in students' way oflearning (field dependence-independence), this paper focuses a lot on the relationshipof different cognition and teaching style to the learning efficiency for junior students.Teachers ought to make an effort to help students learn more without forcing them tostudy in more time. That is to say, get a better result in study meanwhile improvecomprehensive ability and accomplishment as well. The research contains manyproblems on education, which are as follows: the relationship between cognition andstudy result; cognition and learning style in class; how the matching which deals withcognition of teacher and student influences the effect of teaching; the class pattern andthe fair distribution of class time. The essential part of the paper is talking about themutual interaction between cognition and teaching pattern in chemistry, see how thelearning efficiency of the students with the same cognition changes when put in thedifferent teaching pattern and how the efficiency changes supposing the sameteaching pattern buy different cognition of the students.101 junior three students from 2 classes will be the objects of the study whichdeals with the problem of efficiency in junior chemistry learning. Questionnaire isused during the study. The result shows that when learning basic concept and theoryin chemistry, the diversity is obvious if question teaching pattern is used, which saysindependence students get higher marks than field-dependence ones. However, thisdiversity isn't great when it comes to the learning of chemical compound andexperiment if experiment teaching pattern is adopted. Therefore something must bedone to improve the students' efficiency of learning and develop their health bothphysically and mentally. During the innovation, what teachers do while teaching mustmatch the students' learning style; teachers cares more about their students nottextbook or knowledge; they can't only prepare textbook, nor can they follow the oldteaching methods, what they need to do is to choose a better teaching patternpurposely for the students.
