Today a fashionable slogan of classroom teaching goes"changing from predisposing to generative."This kind of a slogan exposed insisting enthusiasm in reformation as well as a indescribable connotative impulsion. The reason why elementary education course reformation has being been greatly advanced is that some defects has been sensed. As a traditional method, predisposed class goes against mobilizing class atmosphere and inspiring class vigor; it also prevents both teacher and students exerting the position of subjectivity, flexibility and creativity. Thus more and more people start to suspect it, crusade against it and evade it. Generative teaching method has drawn more and more attention. This thesis based on the Chinese subject taking Yushu Minjia Middle School for a target case to observe and study the situation in generative teaching method. The goal of this thesis is to grasp the state and features of generative teaching method progressing in this school. Therefore references can be provided for the developing of generative teaching method in Chinese subject after analyzing the reasons and discussing the strategies.The thesis is distributed into five parts:1. This part is introduction which deals with the following: the cause of choosing such a subject; significance of the research; researching method and process.2. The second part discuss the basis of this study. Firstly a general conception of generative teaching method is summarized; secondly, a personal cognition of the author is dissertated.3. This part is about the present situation of Yushu Minjia Middle School. The research subject introduction is followed by coordinating and analyzing the class observation.4. In this part the reason of Yushu Minjia Middle School's non-generative teachinge method is analyzed within two steps: the lack of generative teaching method; the inconformity of generative teaching method.5. The last part discuss the notions of effective strategies in generative teaching method in Chinese teaching.
