There are totally 12 sorts of trade in services in GATS (The General Agreement on Trade in Services); one of them is Education Service which plays an important role in it. All business teaching activities for profit belong to Education Services except that it is sponsored by government such as Education for Military or Police. Nowadays, trade and investment of higher education services with guideline of Market are acquiring more and more attentions from governments, academes and economists.Trade in higher education services means it, as a profitable product, exports and imports among nations in the world. Trade in higher education services can be sorted by consumption abroad, commercial presence, cross-border supply and movement of natural persons. Classical philosophy and Economics impels appearance and development of Trade in higher education services, while it is enslaved to requirements for social development unavoidably, its progress is related to development of politics, economics and culture which are international as well. This paper will take a fresh angle of view to analyze the causes and affections of Market-opening for Trade in higher education services systematically with existing research achievements, trade theories and education economics, then this page will also indicates author's thoughts about future development for Trade in higher education services in China.Research indicates that China Education, as a product, has been pushed to the world after China joined WTO. China has committed market-opening for Education service according to WTO's concepts, status quo and trend of world education trade, as a developing country, however, competition and development coexist at the same time in such a situation. Author's idea is measures must be taken aimed at four sorts mentioned above to enhance our core competition of Education in the world, set up and perfect a modern and opening education market. With a view to vindication of nation dominion and stratagem of continuable development of community, economics, culture and education, it is also significant for China to make trade in higher education services healthy to ensure its harmonious, rapid and persistent development.
