University teachers are typical workers of knowledge as well as an important, decisive resource of the development of universities in the times of knowledge and economy. Though rich in expertise and teaching experience, they stand on their own, lacking communication and sharing, thus resulting in bad influence on the self-development of teaching and the improvement of the whole university. In order to give a better management to creation, transmission, sharing, application and innovation of university teachers'knowledge, it is essential to raise teachers'working efficiency and ability of continuous study, which is the key to unceasing development of the whole university as well as the teachers'self-development. Knowledge management rose in enterprise administration, but it has spread to other social fields, of which education is one special field it is applied to. Applying knowledge management to the cultivation of university education technology shows clear the relationships among knowledge, information and data; it establishes the frame and pattern of knowledge management from three factors, and it makes clear the practical strategy of knowledge management applied in university from following aspects: the supporting environment of knowledge management , practicing associations and so on.Based on the analysis of development history and current situation of university teachers'application of education technology, especially on the analysis of Status Quo of university teachers'application of education technology in Guangxi University for Nationalities, this paper finds that it is not quick and easy to cultivate teachers'education technology literacy. In the process of cultivation, there are many problems, such as teachers'agreement on education technology, management of knowledge, lack of cooperative spirit, communication and a sense of sharing. Taking the cultivation of Guangxi University for Nationalities as a case, this paper provides specific and practical applying strategy of knowledge management in cultivation of university teachers'education technology literacy, including: cultivation of teachers'education technology based on communication and sharing; setting up a store of information technology knowledge on line; organizing practicing associations such as CAI and so on. The examples listed show that it is a good and practical way to cultivated university teachers'education technology literacy.
