Develops Individual Affection And Cultivates Enjoyful Life

Mr Cai Yuanpei, a well-known aesthetician and a leading authority in the academic circle, devoted his whole life to the rejuvenation of China through education. Before he became the president of Beijing University to carry out the rectification movement there, he successively set up a middle school in Shaoxing, a junior college of arts in Hangzhou and a music's academy in Shanghai. During the process of running schools and teaching students, Mr Cai wrote books and developed his thought on education and aesthetics, which became mature in his seven_volume Cai Yuanpei Complete Works. After my close- reading of these works, I finally find out Cai's views which were implied in his works on individual aesthetics, i.e. aesthetic views on fetus, who should develop in a peaceful environment; aesthetic views on babies, who should enjoy their babyhood; aesthetic views on youth, who should have hobbies; aesthetic views on adults, who should have things to appreciate; and aesthetic views on the old, who should take good care of themselves. In a word, in all his lif individual needs aesthetic education and enjoyful affection to balance the mental and hysical aspects to illuminate his potential,so that he can enjoy life achieve impefus to grow up,relieve burden from outside and inside,relax himself from anxiety.In general,Cai Yuanpei 's ideology of individual aesthetic cultivation in lifetime is that aesthetic education inlifetime develops individual affection and cultivates enjoyful life.
