With the rapid development of information technology, human being are brought to the time of knowledge explosion. However, the creation and transfer of knowledge are suffered from its rapid increase. Knowledge visualization is a new discipline that researches into the use of visual representations to improve the creation and transfer of complex knowledge between at least two people. It has been a significant research area of knowledge science. At present, the study of the knowledge visualization and its application in instruction are very little.Research on knowledge visualization should be carried on from three perspectives, including the rationale, the software tools and practical application. From the perspectives of rationale, cognize psychology, physiology and knowledge management are discussed in the dissertation. From the perspectives of software tools, the development of certain tools for specific domains is required, two typical kinds of knowledge visualization tools, Concept Maps and Mind Maps are introduced as particular as possible, including their origin, application in instruction, software tools, and their protract approach, and author participated in programming for such a software, mostly for its modification and test. From the perspectives of practical application, we apply knowledge visualization into Chinese instruction, in order to checkout its effect, we make an experiment between two classes in elementary school be attached to Southwest University. The article research the effect that knowledge visualization apply in Chinese instruction in elementary school.The research adopt such a method that Put forward an assumption and confirm this assumption. |
